ITCH

A/N: Awesome! I actually got reviews. I’m so delighted.  I don’t think this chapter is as mean as the other ones. We’ll see how it goes though.

“I’d like you to welcome Avery to the class… and why don’t I get someone to show her around…” Mr. Lou dragged on every last word of his sentence, so it was like. Cluuuh-ass. Uuuuh-roooound. So annoying.

I’m a quick thinker, and I like to help my fellow peers, so I exclaimed, “Lily will do it. Won’t you, Lily?” Now, Lily has the suckiest self esteem ever. She bases her thoughts on others’ thoughts, which is pretty freakin’ stupid. “It’ll make you seem nice.” What I really meant was it’ll make you look like shit if you reject her here.

Lily nodded. “Yes, Mr. Lou, I’d be glad to show her around.” I looked at ‘her’. Can’t remember her name. Not worth it. She didn’t look too bad. Unfrizzy brunette, hazel eyes. Not contacts. She really needed help with her fashion though. Damn. She looked like she jumped into a dryer and just went with what managed to hold on to her body. I mean, green converse? With loose black pants? And that black Volcon t-shirt? It was a cry of distress. I peered into my little compact mirror. She’d never look as good as me, but that’s okay. No one would.

After class, me and Lily came out and started chatting about the new girl. “She’s all in black! Ew! I can’t show her around. It’s going to kill my rep, y’know?” Ugh. That’s Lily for you. She’s all excited about showing a new person around and then she starts thinking about how bad it was for her. So selfish. The new girl tapped Lily on the shoulder. “What do you want?!” She practically screeched out in the most annoying, shrill voice ever. Ew. Gross.

“Um. Aren’t you supposed to show me around?” The new girl lifted an eyebrow, and despite her ‘um’, she didn’t seem shy. At all.

“Okay. Here’s the hall…” Lily pointed at the lockers on the left of her. “There’s the cafeteria. That’s all you need to know. You probably skip all your classes anyway.” She gave new girl a sneer.

“Gee. Yeah, that really helps. You always act so snobby with people in different clothes than you?” Yeah. That was Lily. I mean, did you see how she reacted to my new outfit today? And with her outfit too. Yuck.

“Hey, don’t be tormenting Lily. She’s just having a bad day. She just got dumped,” I said softly, putting a hand on Lily’s shoulder. If she looks shitty, the people who hang out with her look shitty. I was doing this for her. She’d better pay for the smoothies after school. “She usually isn’t this crabby.”

New girl’s eyes widened. “Oh. I see. I’m sorry. I didn’t know.” And it was right then, that Jake walked up and linked arms with me.

“Ah! Let me introduce you to Jake. He’s mine,” I told her, giving him a kiss. He was number two in my boytoys. Black hair, one of the best baseball players (with strong limbs to prove it), his eyes were a little boring though. Brown? Ew. He was a little better a making out than Kevin though, who just walked by. I blew him a kiss.

“Who’s the babe?” Jake asked, eyeing new girl. Just below her face. He is so dead later. What an ass.

I gave him a sneer. He was being unfaithful. I stick by him for three months, and he’s already staring at another girl. I’d tell Kevin and Leo about this. And maybe hire a gang to beat him up. “This is…” Huh. I don’t know who she is.

“Hi. I’m Avery,” New girl told him, holding out a hand. Ew. Was he actually going to shake that? I mean, she wore all black!

Ugh. He did. I can’t make out with him today.

“Well, anyhow, I just noticed that I haven’t introduced myself yet. I’m Lisa,” I gave a sweet smile. “If Lily doesn’t want to show you around the school, Jake and I will. There are some pretty nasty people you have to avoid around here.”

“Oh, thanks!” Avery smiled back. Ew. She had braces. BLACK. This girl had problems. “So, should we get started?”

“First thing, if you wear all black, people are going to think you’re a freak. They’re going to tease you and everything. We don’t want that happening now do we?”

“Well… I don’t really care.” I shook my head sadly. This girl was such a dimwit. She was as retarded as Chrissie!

“I don’t mean just the students. Teachers will lower your grades, thinking you’re a hooligan. Let’s go to the restroom, yeah? We’ll transform you.”

The restroom was my Ford’s Theater.
