Message in a Bottle
There was a message in a bottle
Tossing and turning at sea
It's life and times were a riddle
As it rested it's soul by a tree.
The siren littered the air
With a song that attracted and pleased
That danced on the voice of the wind
Conductor; the ocean breath breeze.
The woozy bird sang a song for six pence
The beggar; a barrow of rye
All in all they're the same
In the Greater God's glossy, glass eye.
I stood by the sea with me and the tree
Below the stained glass sky
And riddled that riddle 'pon a sand-sewn fiddle
Which rivalled the she-siren's cry.
