Not sure why I wrote this, but the first line just came into my head randomly and I had to continue.

She looks through the window

Afraid, afraid

Afraid of the damage done

The lives lost

The loves destroyed

Afraid of what she did

What she could do

What she is capable of

Afraid of who she is

Where she came from

Why she’s here now

He took her in

Never knowing who

She was, she would be

Never knowing what would

Come to pass

Never understanding her

But she knows

She knows, understands,

Hates herself for what

She has done

And she is afraid of

Herself

She pulls herself away

Wandering into the

Lonesome darkness

Alone and tiny

No longer who she was

Then and before

She knows and

She is afraid
