Kryptonite.

Wrong!

It was Overconfidence.

I mean, with all those powers,

It’s hard not to think you’re indestructible.

So, this is how it happened.

Superman was walking along

Fifth and Main

When he slipped on a banana peel.

Because he didn’t see it.

He wasn’t looking at his feet.

He had his eyes on the sky

Yearning to take flight.

So, with his head in the clouds

And not on the ground,

He slipped and fell.

Who would have ever thought

That Superman could have been defeated

By a Banana?

He certainly didn’t, and now look where he is.

Drinking out of a straw and forever cursed

With an irreversible fear of

Fruit.
