empty eyes swallowing the most precious delight
sewing her wings from the silent midnights
as beautiful as her death, as cold as her tongue
pale hearts breaking from all that’s been done

whispers the wind that weeps for her supper
carrying the burden that comes with a lover
as cold as her tongue, as beautiful as her death
fragile tears seeping from the nothing that’s left

from her butterfly soup to her alphabet kisses
the pitter patter of these plastic wishes
from her razorblade riddles to her suicide paint
the pathetic sight of each somber display

if nothing but hatred should fall from the skies
remember to read between all the lines

subtle hips shaking the whole world to it’s knees
devouring the hopeless in shallow disease
as beautiful as her death, as cold as her tongue
pale hearts breaking from all that’s been done

stolen the stars that soothe her to sleep
filling her wounds with soft bittersweet
as cold as her tongue, as beautiful as her death
fragile tears seeping from the nothing that’s left

from her butterfly soup to her alphabet kisses
the pitter patter of these plastic wishes
from her razorblade riddles to her suicide paint
the pathetic sight of each somber display

if nothing but hatred should fall from the skies
remember to read between all the lines
