Let’s Play a Game

Come

Let’s play a game

Where we can pretend to be far away

Far away from what we call life

This dark, cruel, ironic life

Let’s play in a world of make-believe

Where we are loved

And where all we want is there

A world made from kisses and hugs

Instead of tears and hurtful words

I want to play a game where no one can find us

We can hide in each others arms

Or in a sun drenched meadow

Instead of this rainy cold house

Let’s run, run and laugh

Like there’s not a care in the world

We can forget all that’s happening

Or all that has already occurred

I want to play a game

Like we used to

When you were still alive

Come

Come play a game with me.
