Your wrinkled lines don’t fool me.
Your false smile and fake attitude show what you truly are.
Nothing more than a crooked soul.
You’ve blinded yourself with your own deceit.
Your image lost because of your narcissism.
You change your color as though you were a chameleon.
Black, red, brown, and white.
Tomorrow is always new, when you are as deceptive as you seem to be.
And still underneath, there is the true person.
Or is it your soul, smiling for what you have become?
You get passed around from person to person.
This ages you and makes you animalistic.
Though you seem human,
You rely on your instinct to get you through the day.
You stifle yourself with your lies.
You little miscreant!
You ruin the lives of everyone, as you ruin your own life.
The mask you wear isn’t the ugliness.
It is yourself that is truly repulsive and misshapen.
And yet in all that you are, I see myself.
For even in our truest moments, we all wear masks.
