I’ve watched you a million times
And yet,
You’ve never even seen my face.

I’ve felt your pains,
Your sorrows,
And the way you dance.

If that makes any sense.

When your heel hits
The slickpavement,
My heart beats a million times faster.

When your eyes
Register the change in the beat,
Ifeel the world slowly stop spinning.

For that’s what you do.

Do you have some sort of
Magical powers
That slowly enrapture my soul?

Do you even know
That while you’re dancing,
I’m stuck in this useless mode?

I believe they call that Star Power.

It’s so very strong,
Your Star Power,
And I think it just might be my undoing.

As though I never existed
Before you appeared on the screen,
You keep me hanging on your every word.

For you are my Star Power.

Anyways, I wrote this as a tribute to my obsession with a certain movie star that needs not be named. I always just think that being obsessed with a star is really funny.
