Left at the Crossroad

Betrayed by the sadness that lingers in my mind
Could you at least help me with the lies that I find?
Because I'm alone on my own and you know that its so
Why are you leaving me, letting me be so low?

Why must I watch as you turn away from me
Do you hate it so much that you can't even see
See that I'm a changed man, crying for you
But is it really to late, the last chance I blew?

I am so sorry, faking my life now, even while it won't last
Cause I can't take it, can't even fake it, running from my own past
Give me the courage, something to stand on, foundation crumbling fast
Is this the end, now, is it all over, are these moments my last?

I'm still so sorry as I drown in my tears
I can't believe I've faced those fears
Just to find you'd leave me here alone
Dying here now as my blood runs cold as stone

Goodbye...
