I am Jaqueline Amanda Rouse

Born Friday the 13th, 1987.

I am young and I am special.

I come from a small town

That made me who I am today

And I’m so proud of who I am today.

It’s an on-going journey

That I am ready to take on.

This is who I am

No strings attached.

I can do it for myself

But I am not afraid to ask for help.

I don’t need to be someone else

When I’m happy just the way I am

I am confident,

At first, sometimes, a little shy.

I am social, I love people.

Sometimes I laugh, at times I cry.

I’m easily pleased, easily amused,

Easily broken, easily confused.

But I always bounce back,

It’s all about the attitude

And I refuse to be ill-mannered

I am careful not to harm with my words.

But it took me a while to figure out,

And I’ve come to terms with that.

To realize that I love myself,

I would have taken that time –

I am lucky, I already found peace of mind.
