Love is powerful,

A thing only one person can have,

With a push from a daughter,

The love will reach her dad.

No matter the differences,

No matter the pain,

I will always be there for you,

Through all the tears and pain.

We have our fights and differences,

To which no doubt,

There will be no end,

No matter what daddy dear,

I am your daughter,

And your friend.

You may not think I trust you,

That my mum is all I need,

But truthfully dad,

You are the wind beneath my feet.

You keep me standing tall,

When all I want to do is break,

You are the one father dear,

That I can count on the most.

I am repeating my self in this poem,

But it is only to prove my point,

I love you dad,

No matter what,

You are the only one.
