What are those silent vibrations in my ear?
I know not of the meaning to make myself clear
Though try as I might to distinguish a sound
All I have left is that everlasting pound
Why is my heartbeat strumming a melody?
To break my control in a soul-wrenching felony
Though try as I might to regain all I've lost
I realize I've left behind dear old Jack Frost
The temperature rises as I begin to sway
My control diminishing and beginning to fray
But whereas I was cold as a blistering chill
I've tossed off all matter of pattern and frill
So now I find that it is quite the sport
To run wild and dance and others of the sort
This wondrous feeling I cannot hope to describe
This wondrous feeling of being alive.
