Epics of Ever: Vol.1 (I apologize for the cheesy name, this isn’t really epic-length but whatever)

Shattered innocence lying on the floor

Conscience twisting and turning

Into something darker than night,

Night, where blankets of stars burn themselves out

The sun to fade

You await the day

When Armageddon showers the Earth with rains of ember

Black holes steal the light

And the light steals your soul, little by little

Mutilated spirits and ghosts long gone

Less than pure, less than white

Jealousy and anger beckon greedily

As a vortex of hate spins all day

Run to the dark, hide from the light

Run to a place you can never reach

Run, find yourself farther away

Two steps backward, one step to the side,

Screams of ones like you

The wind carries snatches of voices

Words, but not sentences

In dreams see a golden chariot

With Satan riding inside

See the white mares turn dark at his touch

Smell the scent of nothingness envelope you

Remember what is not worth remembering

Chase yourself round an endless circle

Pick the black roses, crushed

Petals soft and smooth til they disappear between index and thumb

Nectar sweeter than honey, darker than blood

Death’s bitter yet sweet aroma welcomes you

Wake up from your fantasy world

Fall back into the distorted reality that is day,

But long for death’s embrace as the sun goes down

(A/N: Okay, this is a pointless poem with no theme that sounds clichéd and random…deal with it. I wrote this a heck of a long time ago. Better stuff is coming. I’m right now just uploading some of my old stuff before the new comes)
