Puerto Rico,

the thought of a four hour plane ride
overseas to Puerto Rico makes her smile
more than anyone here ever could

“Juni is waiting for me,” she said with a
grin that showed teeth and a blush of
embarrassment on her cheeks, “but i know
he doesn’t need me like i need him.”

in all honesty,
i hope Puerto Rico swallows her whole
and keeps her there where she belongs
because her family wants to see her happy
more than anyone in New Jersey ever would

but i’ll miss her.

A/N: completely based on my friend who
wouldn’t shut up about going to Puerto
Rico for the summer and now that she’s
finally there i hope she stays there for
good. she doesn’t belong here, she belongs
there with her friends and family. Here,
in NJ, i’m the only friend she’s got. she
should live in Puerto Rico with the rest
of her friends and family and be happy.
but i’ll miss her.
