Passing in Transient

--

A transient time -

short; not altogether sweet.

Life can stop turning.

-

Where is the man that

calls out my death, and yours too?

Hiding in the shade.

-

Look death in the eye -

black and bleak it stands once more.

Has it come for me?

-

Bullet through the heart.

It is then that I know there

is no where to turn.

-

Death is suddenly

exciting; an adventure.

Unlike it was then.

-

What is the point of

dreading what must come to pass?

I cannot see it.

-

And now, here I am.

Dead; glossy eyes staring at

Absolutely nil.
