God, I can't write worth crap tonight!
(Though I never could, and you know I'm right).
I still don't get why everyone lied-
It only made me feel worse inside.

I tried so hard (and I still do),
To dream and hope how I used to
And then - (enter stage left) - here come the lies,
The part lied about is the part that dies.

And I wanted so badly to believe that lie,
But the truth set in, so I kissed it goodbye
I'm still nothing special (And I never can be),
But I'm still faking -To them I'm un-me.
