The sights engulf me.
The scents take me away to my private paradise.
Water,
like precious sapphires,
glitters and flows into eternity.
The lilies,
their beautiful heads in bloom,
dance in their grassy hula skirts.
The wind,
it ripples my hair as I walk the water's edge.
This time passes so slowly
and yet too quickly at the same time.
Though the time passes
it will always be in my heart,
memories of
summer.
