How should I handle it?
Ignore it?
Forget it?
Put it in the closet and never remember it?
It hurts
It burns
It bleeds
It scars
The pain it leaves behind
Is unbearable
The memories
They scare me
Cold sweat left behind
By the ghoulish nightmares
Fleeting, vivid images
That traumatize
And shock
The numbness afterwards
Is unforgettable
How should I handle it?
Ignore it?
Forget it?
Put it in the closet and never remember it?
