Fate is...
Trying to write in
the middle of the night at the edge of a dance floor,
when who should walk through the door
but a man in a Saul William's t-shirt.

Fate is...
A quixotic, neurotic, exotic
connection of minds and events
that tears and rents
at the fabric of reality
But brings forth a strange vitality
to what is
Real.

Fate is...
An inexplicable, insane, nontypical moment
De ja vu between two people,
faceless droids in the push
and pull of life,
for an instant in focus.

Fate is...
A series of coincidences
So insane you got to believe,
because it makes no sense.

Fate is...
Life, colliding with dreams, and
teeming with the possibilities
of what is, was, and will be.

Fate is...
Dancing with a poet who is
only dancing to
feel something to write,
while you dance
to write what you feel.
