I see more

When I look at her,
I’m dazzled by her beauty.
An angel here on earth
With all of beauty’s worth.

But I see more.

Alone or with her friends,
Her laughter has no end.
Her smile proves her form
Is truly heaven-sent.

But I see more.

I see behind her eyes
Beneath the make-up’s guise
Where no one wants to look,
A treasure to be prized.

And it is more.

The girl beneath the screen
Is more than what she seems.
Someday I want to know
The girl that I have seen.

‘cause there is more.

When God said, “It is good.”
Has man misunderstood?
If only we could care
And love the way we should.

And I see more.
