I am not a poet.
(more like a petty thief who specializes in removing/renovating/reselling
words/rhymes/lines on the intellectual blackmarket)

You’d be amazed what you can find in the garbage
(and all the intellectual litter that should be there but isn’t)

& I hate poets
(except the ones who have not discovered mirrors/audiences/themselves
& the rules/requests/desire to please others)

Call it denial if you want (cynic/hypocrite/egoist)
(absolutes are intrinsically irrelevant/hypothetical/paradoxical)

but what’s the matter isn’t what matters

how you take it is just as much a choice as to take it

Poets are profound only to themselves
(& to those who are looking/who make it so)
