We are all strangers walking on paper-thin roads
Each step is critical, all on fleeting grounds
We are all looking at the sea of stars
Drowning from the blinding light with out a sound

I see the fireflies burning with incandescent flight
Do you see them crashing with the moonlight?

We are all victims, broken beyond our tainted minds
Every thought, every spark is an endless whisper of a part
A part of our moonlit souls
Playing between lucid tears and vague eyes

Do you see your ignorance now?
Do you see how I’ve become a stranger to your paper-thin road?
A victim beyond your tainted mind?

What am I,
but a firefly
amid your starlit sky.
