It was one of those nights. The nights where you went to the clubs and felt like you were never going to hook up with anyone. You were ready to go home but stuck around just in case you ended up missing something, until at the last minute you found that special someone, and the night never seemed long enough.

Aerik drummed his chipped black finger nails on the table they were at. Ethan and Lilith had gone home, and he almost went with them but when Ethan gave him that look he knew they wanted to be alone. At least he was here with Aubrey right? He glanced at his vampire friend and rolled his eyes; he was on top of the table feeding off of some poor girl.

Aerik looked around The Club, once again, this had to be the eighteenth time he’d done it. He wasn’t looking for anything specific just something.

Ever since Ayden died he locked himself away from the world, and then slowly came back out again. It was hard since the whole world knew about what happened between the two of them. They were models, and ran away together because Ayden’s dad had just moved back in. They sold their bodies on the streets together and got into a lot of shit. He missed being with someone though, being loved. He side glanced Aubrey when he pulled up off the girl.

“Good meal?” He asked with a smile. Aubrey laughed wiping the blood away.

“Fuck yes it was.” He ran a hand through his auburn hair that faced in ten different directions. Aubrey sat back beside his blood bond, and drank some more of his beer. “Found anyone yet?” Aerik shook his head and Aubrey patted his shoulder. “Don’t worry you will babe.”

Aerik rolled his eyes, and folded his arms on the table banging his head against them.

“Dude that really isn’t gonna get you any, although…” Aubrey tapped his finger against his lip and looked up to the ceiling thoughtfully. “Some girls do go for the self mutilation shit a real turn on.”

Aerik laughed. “Shut up.” Aubrey just shrugged catching his next kill as she invited herself to sit with them.

“Why hello, cutie.” The girl said as she sat down.

“Hello yourself.” Aubrey smiled that shit eating grin and moved closer to her.

Aerik tuned them out, and peeked from under his black and white longed sleeved shirt. Right through the cracks of his folded arms he saw something…no, correction— someone. His whole body jerked up causing his friend to give him a weird look but continued to ignore him.

There she was the most gorgeous thing he had ever seen, and she was alone. Gawd how long had she been sitting there all by herself?

She glanced over at Aerik and Aerik quickly looked away. ‘Don’t be obvious, but look interested.’ He told himself. He side glanced her slowly she wasn’t looking anymore she was now talking to the bartender.

Great this was his chance to look her over. She looked around the same age he was seventeen but how the hell did she get in without an id.

A friend of his owned the place so it was easier for him to get in. The girl’s hair was long and black cut in various places with parts pink and blonde. She was eccentric, and Aerik liked that. She was small too maybe 5’3? Make up was nice, a polka dot ribbon tied in a bow on the top of her head. She had on a skirt, black combat boots. And to end it she had on a plain black shirt with white writing. Little boobies but that was expected for someone skinny.

“Aer you’re drooling again, go talk to her.” His master whispered in his ear. Aerik glared at Aubrey for reading his thoughts. “Go on she’s cute, and alone.” He hinted.

The girl glanced over again, and Aerik quickly looked away, but Aubrey didn’t, and waved at her. She smiled and waved back. “Go over there she’s already smiling, and you’re making a dumbass out of yourself.” Aubrey said through gritted teeth. Aerik wiped his palms on his tight girl jeans.

Sighing he got up, and Aubrey smacked his ass. “‘Bout time.” Aubrey said, and turned back to the girl in front of him. “Now back to where we were: have you ever had a threesome before?”

Aerik bit on his lip, gawd he was so embarrassed Aubrey had to wave at her. He sat down beside her, and made sure not to make eye contact. He hadn’t done this in so long.

“Oh hey Aerik what can I get you?” the always friendly bartender asked.

“Oh um…milk?” he suggested and she giggled.

“You know, I’ve known you for a pretty long time and you never ever ask for beer?”

“Yeah…milk’s good.” He said.

The girl beside him was smiling at him, but he was too nervous to look.

‘He’s so much hotter up close.’ she thought to herself.

“Hi I’m Trisha.” She said. Aerik looked over at her alarmed, he didn’t expect her to make the first move. She had the most beautiful hazel eyes he had ever seen. The thick black eyeliner she wore brought them out so; he had never seen such bright eyes before.

“Aerik,” He finally said.

Trisha blushed, his eyes were amazing, a deep glowing green. He was definitely her type: thin, semi-tall about 5’7, beautiful eyes, girl jeans, so emo.

“First time here?” she asked as Aerik sipped through the straw of his milk.

“No I come all the time.”

“Really? I’ve never seen you before.” She said staring right at him as if he was the most interesting thing in the world.

“Do you come here a lot?”

“No, maybe every other week or so, I have school and all.”

“Yeah, me too.”

“Really how old are you?” Aerik hesitated oh no, he hated that question once Ethan and Aubrey blood bonded him he had stopped growing at the age of seventeen.

“Seventeen.” He said hoping that wasn’t a problem for her.

“Really?! I’m almost seventeen. What school do you go to?”

“St. Martin’s Academy.”

“Oh my God, that’s where my brother goes! An all boys school right?” Aerik found he liked how excited she would suddenly get over the smallest of things.

“Yeah that’s the one. What’s your brother’s name?” That caught her off guard.

“My brother?”

“Yeah.”

“Oh well um…he isn’t in school anymore he had to be home schooled because he got sick a lot.”

“Oh sorry.”

“No he’s fine really. He annoys me all the time.” Aerik smiled and was about to ask her what school she went to when her phone went off. “Fuck! Hold on.” She said, and turned her back to him. “What?” she hissed.

“Trevor I’m outside you better hurry up.” Avery, his annoying best friend that drove him everywhere said on the other line.

“Can you please hold on a little longer?” he whined, glancing back at Aerik to make sure he wasn’t listening.

“I’ve been waiting an hour already! I’m hungry too!”

“I’ll buy you dinner if you give me ten minutes, I’m talking to him.” He hinted.

“Him as in….?”

“Yes yes now please ten more minutes okay?”

“Alright alright.” She groaned and Trevor smiled.

“Thank you; I love you lots babe.”

“Yeah, yeah, just hurry up.”

Trevor turned back around to his crush, and smiled that smile for him.

“Is everything okay?” he asked.

“Oh yeah fine it was just my friend telling me she was on the way no big deal.”

“Oh…” Ten minutes passed and a lot can happen in ten minutes.

Trevor flirted back, and forth with his crush from school, and loved watching the blush he caused show up on Aerik’s cheeks. Inside though he hated himself; Aerik probably would have never come up to him if he knew he was really Trevor from his school, the boy that snuck looks at him by his locker. Although there were the rumors that Aerik was bisexual.

Trevor’s phone started going off again it must have meant that ten minutes were up.

“Damn, I have to go.” She said sadly.

Aerik’s smile faded, he didn’t want her to go, not yet.

“Can I have your number?” he asked hopefully.

Trevor froze; his stomach flipped he wanted his number?! Wait no he wanted Trisha’s number, but hey, who gave a fuck?

“Yeah of course.” She wrote it on a napkin and handed it to him. Aerik smiled and Trevor almost fainted.

“Thanks.”

“Mm hmm.”

“Um…do you want me to walk you out?” Aerik smiled when he saw Trisha blush.

“Sure!” Trisha snuck her hand in Aerik’s as they walked out in the cold air.

“It’s nice outside isn’t it?” she asked looking up at the stars.

“Yeah it is.” Aerik was too busy focusing on his hand in hers. Her hand was soft and small; he found he already liked the feel of it in his own.

Trevor spotted Avery’s car and rolled his eyes sticking his tongue out at her when Aerik looked at the sky. Avery was motioning for him to hurry but he was ignoring and stopped turning to face Aerik.

“Um, my rides over there so…”

“Oh yeah…”

“I’m glad I met you, Aerik.” Trisha said looking up at those pretty green eyes of his.

“I’m glad I met you too.” Trevor felt sick inside he wasn’t really meeting him. Going on his tiptoes he planted a chaste kiss on Aerik’s lips, squeezed his hand and walked off smiling.

“Make sure to call me Aerik!” he shouted and Aerik smiled.

“I will!”

When Trevor got back into the car he got a seriously evil look from his second best friend.

“What?!”

“You were in there for fifteen minutes not ten!”

“Oh shut up Ave.”

“Don’t you dare tell me to shut up! I’m the one taking you home you little fag.” Trevor glared and then started laughing. Only Avery could call him that without getting into trouble.

As she drove off he started to take off his makeup. “So how’d it go?”

“He’s amazing.” He sighed.

“Well it’s about time you talk to him Iggy you obsess about him everyday with Nick and me.” Iggy was his nickname he didn’t know where it started from but he preferred to be called that by close friends.

“Shut up I don’t obsess; yes my date went perfect.” He said even though she didn’t ask and it wasn’t really a date. “He has such a nice voice.”

“So does he know it’s you?”

“How the hell would he know? He doesn’t notice me in school.” He said sadly and ruffled his choppy black and (at the moment) blonde hair.

“Well you said he says hi to you at your lockers doesn’t he?”

“Yeah but that’s just small talk I want him all, the whole package I bet he’s good in bed.”

“Iggy please save me from your gay fantasies.” She knew he would go into detail.

“You’re one to talk lesbo.”

“I am bisexual.” She argued.

“Bisexual people are people that are to afraid to admit their gay.” He recited.

“So you’re saying this about Aerik also right?”

Iggy crossed his arms and glared at the road. “Where’s my sugah?”

“If you’re talking about Nick then he’s at Dave’s house.”

“Damn him, he knew I wanted to sleep over and tell him about my adventures.”

“You’re made up ones.” Avery mumbled. Iggy got quiet and looked out the window.

“Hey I was only kidding I’m sure Aerik will call and you’ll get to go out okay?”

“It won’t matter he thinks I’m a girl.” He grumbled.

“Why is it that you can’t talk to him at school? I’ve known you for years and you’ve never been afraid to talk to a crush, even when they’re straight.”

“I know but this one’s different.”

“That’s what you said about Adam, and Chris, and Vincent and Charlie and…”

“I get it!” He sighed. “You just don’t understand; Nick does, though.”

“Whatever. So are you gonna talk to him tomorrow at school?”

“Ha!” Was all he said.
