Prologue: A Summer
This is a story where a girl goes with her parents for a month to visit one her mother’s friend that has moved to a new place. It was quite unique. The house was beautiful in every way you could think of and the views it had from all the windows was very interesting. The favorite view that, Emily, would have for the stay, was on the 3rd floor that looked over a golden field with an old chariot surround by a wooden fence. As she saw the sight, she went on to talk about she could use the wheels that were in the field to make a horse drawn carriage, what she really wanted for prom. She did not receive the response she wanted at all. They ladies told her that she is dreaming too much and that’s impossible, which really upset her. She went in the backyard that was flat for a bit and then there was a wooden stairs constructed that was brown and mixed with black that seemed to reveal that it wasn’t new built. That wooden stairs lead down to the little lake that was found. It was a paradise for anyone who could dream; mostly for children and teens as the adults were too busy talking about their work, problems, and their children. Emily met some kids and some girls and guys that were her age too. As they saw her sad and with sorrow in her eyes as she started having tears in her eyes, they cheered her up and taught her how to jump into the tiny and cozy lake and taught her also how to swim. As they found out what was wrong, they continued to cheer her up. They also invited her to join to make a tiny movie with them. Will they remain friends? Will Emily be able to forget her sorrows? Will she fall in love with a young boy her age? What will the summer reserve?
Interesting? Let me know!
