Prologue: The Biologist

This is a story of a girl who met a young biologist at a National Park. Their interest in biology and many other subjects were attracting them more day by day. They did not just talk about all sorts of subjects; they also had a lot of fun by swimming and playing a few sports. One summer Jean-Paul invited her with her parents in the southern part for a vacation. The house was just so beautiful even from the outside, very clean and the landscape was simple yet went well with the feel of the house. The inside wasn’t any different. They had fun playing games and talking especially watching movie while everyone was sleeping while eating popcorn. One day, he decided to surprise her by taking her out on a horse for a picnic where he used to go to reflect on things. As they were riding on the beach, all of the sudden the sky darkened around them. It started raining heavily and thunder struck so loud that even the heartbeat seemed to have stopped for the moment. The rain was so cold, but Jean-Paul did not stand there a minute not even a few seconds more longer since he had the love of his life with him; so he quickly turned the horse around as they felt the rain and their hearts beating faster than ever. They were both scared because the weather was somewhat much different than they have ever experienced or heard about before. As they were heading home, a few houses caught on fire, spreading to the other fast. They hurried home and told their parents that they had to leave and go to their Uncle’s hotel. They rode the horse because there was no more room in the car. Will they tell each other about their feelings? What is happening to the weather? Will they reach the Hotel before the weather becomes more dangerous?
