Poetry is like a dragon,

Powerful and fierce

Striking fear into one’s heart.

Yet also majestic and breathtaking,

Inspiring awe in anyone who dares to believe.

Protecting those that trust in it,

And fending off those who oppose it;

It reaches the tallest heights and the deepest lows,

Touching all aspects of the imagination.

Its’ fire burns brightly in us all
