AUTHOR’S NOTE:

Dear Readers,

This is a mystery story (that I have already planned out—beginning, rising action, climax, denouement, and the ending!) but, to introduce the character and its reputation, you must first read a short story about him, which I have included here. This will be an introduction to the character of Inspector Sloane, but I have divided it up into parts (as currently, this is still a work-in-progress), so bear with me.

You will be able to read the exciting (heh) full-length mystery once I have (once and for all) officially completed my short story on my detective.
