Twilight

The time when it is neither dark nor light

Nor Day nor Night.

-

The time when the stars have not yet come to brightly shine.

Cautiously coming out one at a time.

-

The time when Sun and Moon are able to meet each other in the same sky,

Looking at one another from afar.

The Sun looks red of mourning because she knows she will have to leave her lover soon.

The tears shed by her will be presented by the numerous bright stars in the dark night sky.

And the Moon…

The Moon for his part may try as he wishes

But he will never be able to illuminate his surroundings as his love does.

For he cannot make the tears disappear.

-

All that he can do is to hope for another rare occasion

An occasion during daytime when he looks for the burning Sun

only to have her snatched away soon after.

-

All they can do is wait all Day,

All Night

-

For the next Twilight.
