If Lovin' You Is Wrong

Author's Note / Summary: When was the last time I wrote a story for FP? I haven't been on here in a while, you know I rap now, so I thought I should give you guys a story about this guy named Lamar who has a crush on this girl named Glenda. The only problem is, Glenda likes Lamar's best friend Orlando and Orlando likes her back. Please, read and review. Thanks. By the way, I'm editing this story to fix grammar and spelling. So, this summary is obviously wrong. Yeah. So, you can read the revised version, but there's not much difference.

Chapter One

Lamar was at his locker grabbing his books for his next class. He hears a voice, the most beautiful voice he's ever heard. Glenda Luckett. Lamar has liked her since...well, forever. I mean, what's not to like about her? Beautiful long, black, curly hair, stunning hazel eyes, and a smile that can make anyone's day better. Lamar stopped her.

"Hey, Glenda. What's up?" Lamar said with a huge grin on his face.

Glenda looked at him and smiled. "Hey Lamar, I called you last night. Why didn't you pick up?"

"I was at football tryouts, remember? I told you this a million times."

"Oh yeah. How did it go? Do you think you did good?"

Lamar turned around and shut his locker door and started to walk to class with her.

He said, "I think I did okay. Nothing I can be proud about. I fumbled a few times, missed some passes, and missed all the tackles. But I think I have a chance."

Orlando came up to them. He said 'hi' to Lamar and put the rest of his attention on Glenda. While Lamar was telling his friend about the recent tryouts, Orlando was licking his lips and staring at Glenda. Glenda listened to Lamar trying to avoid eye contact with Orlando.

"Orlando?"

Orlando looked at his friend. "Yeah?"

Lamar sighed. "Did you even hear what I said, or were you in la-la land with the little elves on unicorns?"

"Yeah, yeah, elves and unicorns."

Glenda laughed, Orlando smiled. She said, "Orlando, you're so funny."

"Thanks. Hey, I got free tickets to the show this week with Two Gunz Up. Do you wanna--"

Lamar interrupted. "Hey Glenda, I'm going to the movies this weekend to see Picture Perfect. Do you wanna go?"

She looked at them. "Sure Orlando, I'd like to go. I was gonna buy tickets anyways. Um...Lamar, you should come with us. It wouldn't be any fun without you there. I'm pretty sure Orlando has another free ticket or he can get another one. Right Orlando?"

He looked at Lamar. He put on a devilish smile. "I wish I could, but uh...I don't have anymore tickets. Sorry my dude."

Lamar glared at him. "Yeah, whatever."

"Aww, that sucks. I really wish you could go Lamar. I really want you to go. But we can go to the movies. You wanna go Orlando?"

"I wish I could but I gotta work. I just got a job at Pizza Works up the street from school. I gotta work on Saturday and Sunday. So, lucky you Lamar. You get to be alone with the beautiful Glenda."

"Aww, thanks Orlando," Glenda said. She gave Orlando a kiss on the cheek.

Orlando said, "You want me to walk you to class?"

"Sure."

Lamar stopped them from going. "Why don't we all just go? We're going to the same class."

"I know, but I gotta stop by my locker, and I don't wanna ruin your perfect attendance, so go ahead."

Lamar watched his best friend walk away with his very first crush. He couldn't help but be hurt.
