A Little Wave in the Sea

I was thrown away
And I was told to out of the way
Just because I acted differently
Then they treated me unfairly

I was kicked out
But I didn't cry out loud
I could hear the people said,
Go away! You're hated!

Why?
I asked that word for a reply
Had I done such a bad thing?
Was I a nasty being?

I walked and stumbled in no end
Traveled through the seas, n also the land
Skipped one rock, but fell cuz of the next one
I searched for light, but I got none

I was asked by all 'friends'
Go away! You can make only a mess!
You can never be useful, you got only a boo!
I asked inside my mind, was that true?

Why there was hate?
Was that part of my fate?
All I had was nothing but darkness
Why? I asked but I was hopeless

I just tried to be me
I am mine, life is free
I didn't wanna follow the mainstream
Cuz I have my own dream

Now I walk inside the darkness
Searching for the sins I'll confess
Here, beneath the sky and the moonlight
I am asking in the middle of the night
