Prologue

Consider for a moment the concept of history. The countless people places and events that have shaped present reality. Absolute undeniable and unalterable as they are…or are they? What if history could be altered or perhaps consider an even more fantastic endeavor. What if the Jeffrey Dahmers, the Ted Bundys, the Hitlers, the Saddam Hussains…what if they were all influenced by the future or were products of the future themselves. What if by going backward in time a modern man could, with cutting edge technology at his disposal and knowledge of events that have yet to happen, carve out his or her own destiny and alter history as he or she knew it?

The year is 2031 A.D. and the unthinkable is now reality…the secret to time travel has been discovered. In the exhaustive quest to produce an energy source known as Anti-Matter, something new was born. In controlled environments matter and anti-matter atoms were split, fused and heated creating new atomic ions. These new ions were dubbed Reverse Velocity Ions or R.V.I.'s. Existing in a wave length unique to the rest of the universe, their energy patterns traveled in a reverse flux. This unique wave length was coined the "Slip Stream" and in it the secret to time travel. Harnessing and utilizing these R.V.I.'s scientists have developed a tried and true method to travel forward or backwards in time.

But something went wrong…very wrong. Terrorists stole the technology and sold it to the highest bidders on the black market. Now with the power of time travel loose on the streets, the government had to do something, that something was the formation of S.S.A.C.R.O.N. (Slip Stream Alliance and Covert Reconnaissance Operational Network). S.S.A.C.R.O.N.'s mission was simple, to track criminals who had obtained the Slip Stream tech through time and recover the stolen technology. Over time the S.S.A.C.R.O.N. commission objective became much broader as it was discovered that criminals from the future were actually becoming famous criminals of the past. Now devoted to not only recovering the stolen tech, but to averting historical tragedies from any and every era and possibly changing the destiny of mankind.
