Random Vacation Poem 6-23-06

My mind is doing battle with the pain

The pain of my heart going insane

Every time I go on vacation

My body is caught in a no going rotation

Spend time at a family reunification

Or wing out on my own immigration

Skating around this old little town

Or listening to stories of life long ago

Trying to avoid a family fight

Or use my imagination

And dream of a far away destination

Walking the streets of old

Going out biking being bold

Looking at older sites

Of the little town life

Being caught in an out raged twister

Winding away from another whack disaster

With a rogue inspiration

Writing this confusing poem

That I don’t even understand

So if you do…

Lucky you

But anyway it’s all true
