A Love like Ours
Water drips from a
cursed fountain
Words splashed across
the wall
Once they sparkled so
pure
And yet now glow with a
diminished eloquence
We are done
Our spirits gone and
yet not so forgotten
Erased as though we
were never truly meant to be remembered
Why should we hide
what we feel in side
Fuck propriety
Shame mocks all
lovers and time makes fools of us all
In the end no one is
safe
Happiness offends all
And creates rivers
colored red for jealousy and green with envy
The star colors in the
rainbow of life left to rule all hearts
Later Days
