I’ve found a hiding place amongst the downs and willows
And here I sleep away the night with the logs as pillows
A blanket of moonlight and a mattress of soft wet grass,
This hiding place becomes my alter for evening mass,
I pray, “Let my peace rejoice and stay amongst the night”
And so it shall, be it I keep from sight.
