The storm made crashes through the town

Made people scream and cry all around

No one knows why God had done

that thing that wasn’t fun for anyone

The world has been forever changed

The homes are now so deranged

Nightmares that woke you up in the night

The town that’s now a horrible sight

Still no one knows why God had done

The thing that made people cry and run

For the thousands of people that were killed

For the thousands of peoples’ hearts, pain now filled

The tears that are shared with everyone

Still no one knows why God had done

The bad to the good, to who didn’t deserve

To watch the waves start to curve

Was this for the good of mankind

The answer we will never find

No one knows why God had done

Such a thing that wasn’t fun
