On a tuesday of last September
it didn't rain and we weren't who we are now
(although, yes, no).

I remember your face as a smile
but no, not last week.
She thought Aphrodite was fat and
this poetry was a bit weak

I remember the upheavals of the century
coming out as crowds accross street
(imagine watching your future with a touch
of disappointment)

And last night, for the first time
they used the word skank
to describe your pretty face,
but even when reality set it, well
that was okay.

Though as they, the crowd, the ominous clouds
that are broken up against the baracade of dirty windows,
tried to judge me, judge you
I then realized that in the present tense this could have been
a bestseller

Too bad I'm tasteless like lukewarm water,
I was your ticket out.

a.a. i don't really remember that well.
