Oh my beautiful one

You said we would be together forever

You said we would last

The words cascade out of your mouth like a song

So easily, so disappointedly

As you start to slip away again

I cry out, trying to hold on

To this fake image

Liar liar

This is just another sad case

Of “You said”

But locked away in heart

All the lies are kept

Unsure of who to believe

I chose you again

Liar liar

This insanity has to stop

This deceiving has gone too far

I’m standing here

Staring into your eyes

Believing every word

Yet again

I thought you were better than this

I thought all this would stop

Liar liar

Here we go again

I’m falling to pieces

As another set of lies

Slips from your mouth

I’m hating this game of tug-o-war

Between reality and dreams

I can’t believe I chose you

Liar liar

Be a man

Stand up for once

For what you really believe in

Don’t tell me something you

Don’t feel

Tell me the truth

Before I tell you goodbye

Liar liar

We were once so perfect

Until your heart changed

But yet the words stayed the same

Every time you speak

I get a little more broken

Stop this

And fix me

Liar liar
