Beautiful
(n. delighting the senses)
The first thing you would notice about him would be his blue eyes, his startlingly blue eyes that shine in the glow of the sun as it envelops him in its honey-drop embrace. You would notice his golden hair, the same colour as the sun’s rays, as it’s played with by the wind, tossing it here and there. Then you would see his lips part into a playful smile, a boyish grin that lights up his stunning face. You would want to touch his creamy, baby soft hands, hands that have never been tainted by the calluses of work.
You would be captivated, you would not want to take your eyes off him, even as his back shrinks into the distance as he strides off to save his damsel in distress.
(Though everyone knows he doesn’t really do it, he just sends a servant before him to slay the dragon before stepping in to hold the sword sunk beneath its scaly exterior. It’s what the pretty boys do.)
A/N: Random characterisation of a male character in the fantasy genre. I’ve been toying with the idea of writing a verse series (because poetry seems beyond my reach, right now), but I can’t seem to find a start.
