Closed stores and doors,
empty streets laugh
at my dead plants.
(the dirt still stuck in my teeth)

This place will sprout and grow,
dusty inhibitions knocked down
for high tech malls
and people,
such pretty charming
people

Operatic (screeching) silhouettes
of old time movie girls
litter shiny poster papers,
attitude but so un-liberated
as they say
compared to girls today

Our angry poetry
-on love-
and war science minds
rise up out of the rubble
as a diversified blossoming tree,
startling in our sun-swept
anti-breeding but incompatible flowers
among the age old cedars

Our governments run around
pushing buttons
And our sisters hide their faces,
starving in dark houses,
thinking of sons dying
And our Paris Hilton dress-ups agree
we need to end
women's suffer(age)ing

And
our children run around
in their lazy fun filled round about way
questioning what good
is our education?

As the sun coughs and hacks
its way through yet another
generation of videogames
with a background symphony
of spring rain,
caressing all the tears,
mingling with a sting,
wetting the waiting earth.
