Part of me is screaming,
With every passing smile,
To let it out, to show myself,
As I am for awhile,
But I hesitate, hold back,
Cause you wouldn't understand,
The person that you know,
Is not who I truly am.

And I wonder what you would say,
If I ripped the mask away,
And mascara dripped down my cheek,
And I showed you I was truly weak,
Would you close your eyes,
Blow it all of as lies,
Or would you say it's all too much,
And mark me "Fragile: Do not touch."

On the outside I'm strong, strong like a diamond,
And it seems I can hold my own,
But inside I'm fragile, fragile as glass,
Shattering when they throw the first stone,
And I know my mask is slipping,
But i don't think you'd understand,
The person I pretend to be,
Is not who I truly am.

And I wonder what you would say,
If I ripped the mask away,
And mascara dripped down my cheek,
And I showed you I was truly weak,
Would you close your eyes,
Blow it all of as lies,
Or would you say it's all too much,
And mark me "Fragile: Do not touch."

(bridge)
Someday I'll remove the mask,
And cry.
I'll spread my broken wings,
And fly.
And I wonder,
I wonder...

I wonder what you will say,
The day I rip the mask away,
And mascara drips down my cheek,
Showing you I am truly weak,
Will you close your eyes,
Blow it all off as lies,
Or will you say it's all too much,
And mark me "Fragile,"
Will you mark me "Fragile,"
Will you mark me "Fragile,"
"Fragile:Do Not Touch."
