If you fear the night

Why keep running from the light?

Fleeing, escaping

Unknown terror behind you

If you fear the dark

Why keep turning from the sun?

Dragging, pulling

Dark rope entangling your wrists

Walk beloved

There’s no hole

Before your feet

Tripping your steps

There’s just fear

Half of a heart

Heaving another piece

Towards what’s known

Real under your touch

Touchable beneath your senses

Solid underneath your fingers.

Where are your dreams?

A single moment

Trapped in sweet fantasy

Pink and blue

Sweet and acrid

Ever changing

Never-ending?

When we are one

And too many among the stars.

Walk beloved

Or just sit by my side

Dream with me

There’s no rush here

No fear, just hope

A better life

Something pink

Something blue

Something unknown

Yet a part of you.

Dream with me

As if it could be real

Touchable, Solid

Our home

Our hearth

Our heaven

A piece of sky

Don’t run now

Stop fleeing from yourself

Outside, the sun is waking

Inside, it never left.

Walk with me, beloved?

AN – Thanks to everyone that reviewed my previous poems. I can’t say how happy I am every time someone says my writing is something enjoyable to read. Thank you all
