Chapter 1

Author’s Notes: Please, I don’t have excellent talent with writing, so give me all the criticism you have for my story! I would really appreciate it! Please! And by the way, some of the parts of this story might be a little…offense…so please don’t get mad because it’s just a story with an idiotic character! Oh yes, and you will see XXXXX a lot. It means that the scene is changing.

“Aono!” yelled the teacher angrily, standing up from her desk. “Wake up this instant! How dare you sleep in class, and on the very first day of school?!”

Sanyu Aono woke up, lifting his head up from his muscular arms. He yawned loudly as he stretched, as if deaf to the teacher.

An angry-looking vein was throbbing on the his teacher’s head, as if she was getting more pissed off by the second.

Some of the girls giggled quietly as the guys snickered.

“Huh?” Sanyu pretended to look around as if not knowing what was going on.

“Aono…” growled the teacher as she tried to repress her anger. “Would you please try to stay on task as I teach English?”

“No,” said Sanyu, frowning.

The teacher gasped as if horrified.

“Why bother learning how to speak like the Americans if I’m not even going to use the language?” he mumbled.

“Learning a second language is important, young man,” the teacher snapped.

“Give me an example why,” said Sanyu in a bored voice.

“Learning English will get you a good job in the future,” said the teacher with her eyes sparkling behind her glasses. “It’s wonderful to speak a foreign language! It makes one feel so much more confident!”

“Yeah, yeah, whatever,” mumbled the teenager.

“…” The teacher was starting to lose her temper. “Aono-” She opened her mouth to speak, but the school bell rang, signaling for the end of the school day. “What?! Already?!”

“Later,” sneered Sanyu as he got up from his desk. He was in a bad mood because all his friends have moved away to different cities, and his girlfriend had cheated on him behind his back, so he had no one to have fun with. ‘Well, almost everyone…’ he thought, a smirk now on his face, which didn’t look too friendly.

After school, Seiko handed a large box to a teacher. The teacher bowed politely. “Thank you for bringing this to me, Hinata-kun,” he said.

“Yes, teacher,” said Seiko politely before leaving. He sometimes ran errands for the school staff because he’s too polite to turn them down.

The sun shone on Seiko walked down an empty street. ‘I wonder if he’s going to come this year,’ he thought wearily. ‘If I’m lucky, he’s probably somewhere far away breaking a car to pieces with his friends.’

He’s talking about Sanyu Aono. Sanyu was always beating Seiko up almost every day after school. It’s not that the redhead had a grudge against the younger teen; he’s just one of those bullies who target the smaller victims. Sanyu usually had a girlfriend and a group of his large friends with him, too. However, Seiko doesn’t say anything or complain about it. He just doesn’t care.

Seiko heard a footstep behind him, and knew it was Aono. “Just get it over with,” he sighed, dropping his school bag.

“Fine with me,” smirked Sanyu, his arm already around Seiko’s neck.

“?!” Seiko didn’t expect him to be so fast.

Sanyu jerked sideways so Seiko was sort of sitting on the ground. The younger teen barely let out a sound in the process.

But before Sanyu was about to hit Seiko in the face, he caught a glimpse of Seiko’s face that made him pause. Seiko was breathing hard, waiting for the blow. The older teen released him.

“What the hell? You’re not that Hinata kid, are ya?” Sanyu was a bit confused.

So was Seiko. “What are you talking about?” His voice was soft. “I am Seiko Hinata.”

Sanyu stared. This couldn’t be the Seiko Hinata he’d been beating up for the last two years, could it?

Explanation: In the past two years, Seiko was really scrawny and geeky. His hair was always slicked in the schoolboy style. He also used to wear really ugly glasses that made his eyes all big, and his shirt was always tucked in his pants. The way he talked sounded like a duck trying to talk. That was the Seiko Sanyu had remembered.

But now, Seiko Hinata was completely different. Seiko’s hair was loose now, and his bangs covered his gold eyes. Sanyu never knew that the younger teen had gold eyes. Seiko wasn’t wearing any glasses. His voice was softer. Plus, the younger teen was no longer scrawny, but rather…slender like a girl. Even his face was suddenly feminine. He was dressed like any normal guy, too. He looked pretty good now.

Well, I heard that people change eventually,’ Sanyu thought uneasily. ‘But this is a freakin’ major change! He’s a pretty boy now!’

Seiko stood up slowly, and in the older teen’s eyes, almost gracefully.

Dammit,’ thought Sanyu. ‘Why the hell do I feel so damn guilty all of a sudden?!’ It usually amused him beating the hell out of Seiko.

The younger teen blinked in confusion, and now Sanyu noticed that Seiko had long, dark lashes, even with those dark bangs in the way. The older teen suddenly felt awkward, and turned his back and walked away.

Seiko stood watching, wondering why Sanyu had stared at him like that.

The younger teen slipped into his house quietly. There was no one there to greet him, for his parents are dead. His relatives were far away because of their jobs, so he sort of lived by himself.

He was still a little confused from earlier. Before Sanyu was about to hit him like he was sort of supposed to do, the older teen stared at him as if seeing him for the first time.

Well, I did change my looks a little,’ he thought uneasily. ‘I got rid of my glasses after the coach stopped trying to get me to play lacrosse, and Kyoko-san can’t do my hair now that she has a job far away, but that’s just minor.’

He walked into his room and proceeded to do his studies (he’d already done his homework in school.

It was late when Sanyu slammed into his apartment. He’d been walking around the city, lost in his thoughts.

He scowled as he sat on his old couch. His place was surprisingly neat and organized. It was a pretty small apartment, though; a tiny bathroom, a tiny kitchen, a tiny bedroom, a tiny living room.

He was scowling because he couldn’t get Seiko out of his head. The young teenager’s face was stuck in his mind…and that body. Sanyu shook his head wildly. Why the hell was he thinking all this? Maybe it’s ‘cause he’s still not over his break-up with his girlfriend. No, he was the one who ended the relationship, so…

“Did I turn into a faggot?!” he yelped. “No fucking way!”

To be continued…
