When the moon was out of sight,

And the sun hid behind the clouds,

That was when you really shone.

But now, morning's growing nearer,

(My baby is being slowly smothered,

But lips don't often turn black and blue).

As the sun grows stronger,

You continue to fade.

Dreams will envelope you soon,

Can you feel me hold you there?

Do you forgive me all my sins?

I can still feel you here,

Your chest rises and falls with mine,

I sense the blood pulsing through you.

Have I broken you?

I'm still alive, lusting to give you more,

And yet my kisses are nothing,

Not even a smile or a return.

I just can't help it.

You're just so close,

Just so there.

And slowly I too fall into dreams.

(More like nightmares -

But I'm not afraid anymore,

I'm with you aren't I?)

Slowly I wake you,

You must get up or they will know.

Today's picture day.

Remembered forever.

A caress across your stomach,

I've left traces.

A kiss to your lips,

And you turn away.

(Someone might hear.)

Once we were so wrapped up in each other,

We didn't know who was who.

Now that morning after has arrived,

We're so divided.

But I know you still love me,

It's just the aftermath.

(Of my first Kiss.)
