The hen sits on her eggs

Cluck-a-luck-luck

And the farmer's son

Walks up.

“Don't come close

you big meanie pig-boy!”

The hen clucks away,

The angry glint in her eyes.

And the big pink boy

Leans closer -sigh-shift-pop-sigh-

“And why should I not,

you cranky old hen?”

The hen cluck-a-lucked

Backed away, and

pecked!

“Owey-yowey-zow!”

Yelled the big pink boy thing.

He runs far away quick-quick,

While the old mother cluck hen

Yells:

“You came close,

you big meanie pig boy,

and got no nose

or mouth to eat my eggs with!”
