Life Itself… Exposed

Shine the spotlight on celebrities and criminals

The public stretches its freedom, throwing away terminals

What happens to those who lose grasp on life and go insane?

Piece by piece, we all lose our hold on this broken chain

Charity and narcissism run amuck in and out of the soul

We must redeem for committed sins or simply lose more control

Blasting fun into the air, with not a care in the world

Live today, forget yesterday, and let tomorrow unfurl

When exactly will humanity’s finale arrive?

No one really knows; that’s why life’s a mysterious jive

Life is here for us to love or hate

Many sinners desire to start over with a clean slate

Sprinkle the land with danger and hope

Watch soldiers die and lovers elope

Who's to say that life cannot change?

It happens everyday; like a spell cast by a mage

Through the good and the bad, for better or worse

We're here for each other during each and every one of life's course

A/N: Hm… well, I hoped you liked this poem I had conjured up while I was pondering on life and my friends. Ok, well, please review if you have the time to spare just 40 seconds and say something about my poem!! Thank you!
