--------------------------------
She dragged three fingers over her lips (three for lucky) and they left
bruises where she lied until she was guilty ebony and seared indig(nation), oh
and she'd sell her soul for bittersweet black coffee.
She likes people better with their principles ripped and hearts burning because
she's strongest and stronger or just strong.
Enough. She could steal memories or dreams or cheap diamante earrings
because she was good with her hands and she loved diamante
like she loved her reflection. (sparkly and everywhere and cheap and f.a.k.e.)
And she leaves traces of charcoal eyeliner wherever she goes
(tears follow her like trailing lace.)
Her skin clings to you and she'd never be hurt because
she wouldn't look good in a hospital bed.
