We are the armor girls

And we stand by our knights

Through thick and thin.

When that silly princess

Finds her knight in shining armor,

Just remember-

We’re the reason that armor shines.

So we don’t have skin like ivory

Or long, flowing hair.

We’re actually a bit dirty

Because we work for what we’ve got

And know how to take care of ourselves.

We don’t live in castles

And throw grand balls

But rather,

We build our own castles in the clouds.

We’re not the ones knights and princes run after

We are the “better friends than girlfriends”

We are the armor girls.

But we love with all our hearts

Those silly knights who brush us aside

And we never let them see the tears that fall

When they pledge themselves

To another shallow princess,

Because we are the armor girls

And we will have our day

When our knights will turn around

And see us through completely new eyes.
