I couldn't believe what I thought I might be seeing,

Yet something in me refused to believe it couldn't be true,

I thought that maybe I might be hallucinating that look,

The one that sent shivers down my spine,

I thought maybe you weren't really looking at me,

But maybe at something a little bit past me,

I stared at you though wondering if I should ask,

Or if maybe I should yell out what I was feeling at that moment,

I knew I wanted you to know,

And that look in your eyes,

The look that sent shivers down my spine,

Made me wish I knew you as more than a friend,

I wanted to be in that moment forever,

Hoping against everything it was me you were looking at,

With that look in your eyes,

The look that sent shivers down my spine.
