The Color of Tears

1)Sometimes I wonder why

We still cry

When all our tears just hit the ground

Tears burn the eyes

So sometimes crying in the rain feels better.

2) Pools of tears

Mixing colors

Memories flooding into view

Burning eyes, Burning face

Cannot tell what I'm to do.

So I'll lie...here,...In my pool of colored tears.

3) I am drenched

I feel bare.

I can't find a place to stand anywhere.

My eyes water,

I don't want to remember, yesterday.

Reds and Blues.

Turquoises and Violets.

Drowning in me,

In yesterday's regrets.

I ache inside.

But the colors set me free.

The colors are joy.

The colors come from the weeper in me.
