The icy wind took you away
Beyond the cold and angry rain
Feeling torn you left this place
Upset to show your crying face
Waiting here, on this same beach
Your lessons I never got to teach
Of how your ghost, frosty and cold
Would take away the wounds of old.
I feel the sand beneath my feet
A gentle spirit I hope to meet,
That stares into my shining eyes
And returns the glow, to my surprise.
How sea of blue, and sand of gold
Destroys the lies that we were told.
Waiting for you, beside this sea
So you'll return and forgive me.
